Job summary

Intersect Power, LLC is seeking a senior Engineering Manager to lead HV transmission and MV distribution designs across solar, wind, battery storage, data center, and natural gas projects. You will drive interconnection strategy, supervise EPCs, and coordinate with Development, Permitting, Construction, and Operations to ensure cost-effective, reliable infrastructure.

You will contribute to financing reviews, provide operations support, and champion safety and environmental standards throughout

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in clean energy project development, including interconnection and EPC management.
• Deep experience leading HV substation/collector design (34.5-500 kV) at a developer, EoR, or EPC.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external consultants/contractors.
• Experience delivering utility-scale projects through energization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preliminary HV transmission and substation designs and MV distribution/collector designs.
• Lead and manage EPCs, engineers of record, and external consultants.
• Govern maintenance and improvement of internal design tools for engineering analysis.
• Drive meetings with utilities to advance interconnection discussions from development through commissioning.
• Support interconnection applications and dynamic models for accuracy and compliance.
