Intersect is seeking a senior Interconnection Engineer to own and execute interconnection strategies for generation and large-load projects, with a focus on ERCOT. You will provide technical leadership across the full life cycle, ensuring sound, executable solutions aligned with development plans.

Collaborating with Development, Construction, Operations and Project Finance, you will engage utilities, system operators and regulators to advance project objectives, manage risk, and ensure schedule

Qualificações

• Experience leading interconnection processes for generation or large load projects.
• Strong technical leadership across studies, planning and execution.
• Ability to coordinate with utilities, ISOs and regulators.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end generator and large load interconnection processes from early development through COD, with accountability for schedule, risk, and outcomes.
• Develop short-, mid-, and long-term interconnection strategies aligned with development and investment roadmap.
• Identify and evaluate interconnection options, constraints, and mitigation strategies to support portfolio optimization.
• Serve as the primary contact with utilities, ERCOT, and stakeholders on interconnection matters.
• Build relationships with transmission owners, system operators, and regulators to advance project objectives.
• Review study results and collaborate on IBR modeling, transmission planning, and study execution.
• Support cross-functional teams including Origination, Development, Engineering, Construction, and Project Finance.
