Position Summary:
Ametek’s Specialty Metal Products (SMP) Business Unit is seeking an HR Manager with a passion for the HR profession, a desire to grow their career, an attention to detail, critical thinking skills and high intellectual curiosity. This role offers multi-site responsibility and is ideal for a motivated professional looking to advancetheir career. This position will report directly BU HR Director, and may be based in either Eighty Four, PA, or Lancaster, PA.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing environment where safety is a priority. As the primary HR resource for employees at our Eighty Four, PA and Lancaster, PA locations, this role will also provide HR leadership and oversight of the Senior HR Generalist at our location in Wallingford, CT. A strong performer will be able to grow their career as they achieve success. The successful candidate will welcome the blend of hands on and front-line HR work, including payroll & HRIS administration, talent acquisition, new hire orientation, performance management, attendance, benefits/leave of absence administration, and data analysis and reporting. The candidate will develop expertise in systems like ADP Enterprise, Success Factors, ADP Workforce, and LinkedIn Recruiter. This position requires precision under high expectations and accountability, with contributions to areas outside of HR.
