Job summary

North Arrow ABA, LLC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our expanding Human Resources team in Traverse City, Northern Michigan. The role focuses on employee relations, benefits, leave, workers' compensation, HRIS, and compliance to support the employee lifecycle.

This hands-on position reports to the HR Director and partners with leadership to ensure compliant, timely HR practices aligned with operational needs. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is an experienced, hands-on HR professional who independently manages a broad range of employee relations, benefits, leave, workers' compensation, HRIS, compliance, and employee lifecycle responsibilities. As North Arrow continues to grow across multiple locations, this position serves as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders and helps ensure HR practices are consistent, timely, compliant, and aligned with operational needs. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Senior HR Generalist handles complex day-to-day HR matters, leads assigned programs and processes, and provides practical guidance to managers. The role collaborates closely with the HR Coordinator and other internal partners, provides workflow guidance and cross-training as needed, and escalates high-risk, precedent-setting, or strategic matters to the Human Resources Director.
