Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Human Performance Advisor to serve as a principal technical expert for the POTFF program at HQ USSOCOM. This role provides strategic guidance, oversight, and evidence-based support to optimize SOF human performance and family well-being.

Requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance. The position offers leadership in shaping enterprise human performance initiatives with extensive collaboration across components and TSOCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience consulting within designated function.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Develops solutions to highly complex problems which require ingenuity.
• Solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions.
• Master’s degree in exercise science, health science, physical education, dietetics, physical therapy, sports psychology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrable experience, including at least five (5) years embedded in USSOCOM POTFF.
• Experience developing long- and short-range planning for sport- or mission-specific performance programs.
• Certifications/licensure: CSCS, SCCC, PT, CC-AASP, RD, or RDN; active state licensure if required.

Responsibilities

• Function as enterprise-wide technical authority for POTFF program areas.
• Assist in domain oversight for Components, HQ, and TSOCs.
• Perform administrative duties to maintain licensure.
• Develop oversight and compliance documentation for site visits and inspections.
• Lead strategic planning, policy development, and data integration for readiness.
