Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist II to support health, safety, and environmental programs at field construction sites across the United States. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and customer representatives to promote a safe work environment.

You will conduct site inspections, hazard analyses, incident investigations, and training, contributing to audits and safety initiatives that align with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Oracle preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior staff.
• Effective teamwork across regions and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain effective working relationships.
• Support and promote the company’s safety program and local incident prevention initiatives to reduce risk behaviors.
• Implement project-based safety programs aligned with strategic goals.
• Contribute to pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
• Coach and train duties and processes to junior team members.
• Prepare and deliver safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
• Contribute to the development and review of job hazard analyses to identify risks and controls.
• Support incident, near-miss, and claim investigations and communications.
• Maintain knowledge of company HSE standards, programs, and objectives.
• Model HSE goals to ensure a safe and productive environment.
• Assist in developing routine HSE project plans and specifications.
• Provide input and guidance supporting audits, inspections, evaluations, and incident investigations.
