Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a seasoned Safety Specialist II to enhance and sustain health, safety, and environmental programs. You will conduct comprehensive safety assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide expert HSE guidance to internal stakeholders.

The IAS business area leads in ISR and aviation, delivering C4ISR solutions with design, integration, testing, training, and complete logistics support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in safety/HSE or related field.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local HSE regulations.
• Experience with data capture, analytics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform detailed safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and implement preventive measures.
