Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience in environmental health and safety.
• Knowledge of EHS management systems such as ISO45001, ISO14001, or similar.
• Experience with LOTO, PRCS, SPCC, air permitting, etc.
• Experience with RCRA, CERCLA, EPA, hazardous wastes, air emissions, etc.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the company's environmental safety programs and policies.
• Maintain safety equipment inventory and perform periodic safety inspections.
• Monitor hazardous waste removal vendors and assist in consolidation of wastes.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
