Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree and ten+ years of work-related experience or 14 years if non-degreed
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients and stakeholders
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/provincial, and federal regulations and guidelines
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work approach

Responsibilities

• Lead the Health, Safety function and project‑wide HSE team to foster a safe, productive environment
• Provide guidance on HSE practices and regulatory compliance to business lines and project management
• Make decisions on engineering/scientific HSE problems using advanced techniques
• Lead safety programs and site orientation to promote safety and productivity
• Run gap analyses to align company practices with client and regulatory requirements
• Provide leadership to maintain HSE standards across projects and company
• Represent Fluor to external HSE organizations
