Job summary

Fluor Corporation in the United States is seeking an HSE Site Manager to apply extensive safety knowledge to protect workers and the environment while supporting productive project execution. You will develop and monitor HSE programs on projects, perform risk assessments, prepare regulatory and company standards documentation, and train staff to uphold Fluor’s health and safety commitments.

A four-year degree and related experience are required, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with 3+ years of related experience, or seven years without a degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job site technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/provincial, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Fluor HSE standards and goals on a project site or in an office through training.
• Ensure project site adheres to Fluor HSE standards and guidelines.
• Conduct onsite risk assessment and mitigation.
• Promote and foster Fluor HSE standards and goals across programs.
• Develop and monitor HSE programs and project documentation.
• Prepare HSE sections in PEP and PPM and support permit preparation.
