Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an experienced HSE lead to manage and train teams on health, safety and environment practices across large-scale projects. You will coordinate budgets, staffing, and documentation to maintain compliance with client expectations and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong communication, leadership and analytical skills, with a focus on balancing productivity with safety.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with eight years of work experience (twelve years if non-degreed).
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients and stakeholders.
• Job related technical knowledge to complete the job.
• Ability to learn applicable statutory guidelines at local, state and federal levels.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train subordinates on HSE activities for TIC large-scale projects; manage budgets, staffing and schedules; prepare HSE documentation and certifications.
• Provide guidance on HSE practices and interpret client requirements and regulations.
• Make independent engineering/scientific decisions on HSE problems using advanced methods.
• Develop and supervise HSE programs across projects, improving site safety and productivity.
• Run gap analyses to align Company practices with client and regulatory requirements.
