Job summary

Fluor Corporation in the United States is seeking an experienced HSE leader to manage and train subordinates on Health, Safety & Environment activities across large-scale TIC projects. You will develop and implement HSE programs, lead risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with project teams to balance safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree and eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors and stakeholders.
• Job-related technical knowledge to complete HSE tasks and compliance requirements.
• Ability to learn and apply local, state/province, and federal regulations and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious, efficient work style.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train subordinates assigned to area on HSE activities for TIC projects; includes budgets, staffing and schedules.
• Provide guidance to business lines and project teams on HSE practices and regulatory requirements.
• Make independent engineering/scientific decisions using advanced HSE methods.
• Develop, customize, and supervise HSE programs across project sites to balance safety with productivity.
• Run gap analyses to align company practices with client requirements and regulations.
• Initiate and maintain HSE standards and goals across programs and projects.
