Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a senior HSE Leader to manage the Health, Safety function and lead the Safety team on large-scale projects in the United States. The role centers on fostering a productive work culture that avoids injuries, environmental harm, and unsafe practices, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position requires guiding and training staff, coordinating HSE programs, and providing oversight for safety cases, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses across TIC

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with ten years of experience, or fourteen years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/provincial, and federal regulations and guidelines.
• Detail-oriented and time-conscious in work execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train subordinates assigned to HSE areas on large TIC projects; budgeting, staffing, and documentation.
• Provide guidance to business lines and project teams through interpretation of HSE practices.
• Make decisions on engineering/scientific problems related to HSE using advanced methods.
• Lead implementation of Safety programs and site-based HSE orientation across project staff.
