Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead the HSE function for large-scale projects. You will oversee training, program development, site safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure a productive and safe work environment.

The role requires a four-year degree and extensive HSE experience, including certifications. You will interact with management, project teams, and clients to sustain high safety standards and prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences (management, staff, clients).
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/federal statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious execution of tasks.
• Experience in managing HSE programs on large construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train subordinates on HSE activities for TIC large-scale projects; include budgets, staffing, and documentation.
• Provide guidance to business lines and project teams on HSE practices and regulatory requirements.
• Make independent engineering/scientific decisions related to HSE using advanced techniques.
• Develop and supervise HSE programs and orientation for project staff to balance productivity with safety.
• Conduct gap analyses to align company practices with client and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and maintain HSE standards and goals across project sites.
• Support Fluor's HSE and Sustainability policies; perform other duties as assigned.
