Job summary

Fluor Constructors seeks a seasoned HSE leader to manage the Health, Safety & Environmental function on large-scale projects in the United States. The role drives a productive safety culture, oversees training programs, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and environmental protection standards.

Key duties include guiding project teams, performing risk assessments, developing and supervising HSE programs, and coordinating with management and regulators.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field and eight years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local, state regulations and federal guidelines.
• Detail-oriented and time-conscious in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train subordinates on HSE activities for TIC large-scale projects.
• Provide guidance on HSE practices and regulations to management and project teams.
• Make independent engineering/scientific decisions related to HSE.
• Develop and supervise HSE programs and site orientation.
• Run gap analyses between company practices and client/regulatory requirements.
• Initiate and maintain HSE standards and goals across projects.
• Adhere to Fluor's HSE and Sustainability policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
