Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Corporate HSE Critical Risk & Safety Manager to advance life-critical safety standards and controls across construction projects. This role partners with Corporate HSE leadership, Construction HSE Directors and project teams to identify risks, implement effective controls and drive continuous safety improvements.

The position requires translating corporate expectations into practical field applications while influencing leaders at all levels without direct reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Health/Safety, or related professional field.
• 8 or more years of related HSE experience with demonstrated experience in construction safety, critical risk management, safety leadership, field assurance, or technical safety.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Company’s Critical Risk strategy by identifying, evaluating and prioritizing exposures with the potential to result in life-threatening, life-altering or life-ending events.
• Partners with Construction HSE Directors and project HSE teams to improve field execution, safety leadership, hazard recognition and control implementation.
• Utilizes HSE data, incident information, high energy trends, audit findings and leading indicators to identify emerging risks, systemic control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluates HSE programs and processes to determine whether they effectively address identified risks and achieve intended outcomes.
