Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Senior HRPP Administrator to oversee the administration and implementation of the HRPP and IRB policies across Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England. The role ensures compliance with federal/state regulations and AAHRPP standards, advising on review criteria and maintaining current regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities include supporting IRB meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and working with faculty, staff, and students to manage protocol reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research, including FDA regulations.
• Experience working in an academic or clinical research setting.
• CIP certification or willingness to obtain CIP certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and implementation of HRPP/IRB policies across Brown and partner sites.
• Support IRB meetings: prepare agendas, materials, and minutes; advise on regulations.
