Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Senior HRPP Administrator to lead the administration and implementation of the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) policies across Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England.

The role ensures compliance with federal regulations, state/local law, and AAHRPP standards, and supports IRB committee meetings, agendas, minutes, and reviewer guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research.
• Experience in an academic or clinical research setting.

Responsibilities

• Administrate HRPP and implement IRB policies for Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England.
• Prepare meeting agendas and materials for IRB Committee meetings.
• Take minutes and advise IRB members on regulations and review criteria.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and institutional policies and SOPs.
