Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Senior HRPP Administrator to lead the administration and implementation of the Human Research Protection Program and IRB policies across Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional standards while collaborating with faculty, staff, and students.

This role supports IRB committees, manages meeting agendas and minutes, and provides regulatory guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• In-depth understanding of laws, regulations and policies for human subjects research, including FDA regs.
• Experience in an academic or clinical research setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement HRPP/IRB policies and procedures across Brown University and related entities.
• Support IRB meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, and advise on applicable regulations and review criteria.
• Maintain current knowledge of federal/state regulations and institutional SOPs; manage protocol reviews.
