Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. (SIS) in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Analyst, People Operations and HR Systems to redesign HR processes, own HRIS configuration, data integrity, and reporting for HR leadership. This role also drives automation and adoptions across HR tech.

The position focuses on building reliable dashboards, evaluating new HR technology, and ensuring seamless data flow between HR systems, payroll, scheduling, and applicant tracking, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in people operations or HRIS with HRIS config experience.
• Proven track record redesigning HR processes and implementing change.
• Experience building HR reports/dashboards and defining metrics.
• Ability to explain data constraints to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and ability to learn HR systems.
• Office-based role in Austin, Texas or New York, New York; occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Owns HRIS configuration and data integrity, including workflow setup and data quality.
• Redesigns HR processes end to end and implements changes through system config and training.
• Builds automation and employee self-service to reduce repetitive work.
• Develops reporting dashboards and retires unused reports.
• Leads HR system selection requirements, vendor evaluation, and data migration readiness.
• Manages data flow between HR systems and payroll, scheduling, ATS, and licensing.
• Drives adoption and trains the HR team; creates durable documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
