Job summary

The Senior HRIS Analyst at City of High Point leads governance, optimization, and data integrity within the Workday environment, aligning HR processes, position control, and compensation with the municipal budget. You will develop executive dashboards, analyze vacancy trends, FTE utilization, and workforce demographics to support data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and vendors to optimize the city’s HR technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years progressive HR/HRIS experience.
• At least 2 years Workday experience (config, reporting, admin).
• Strong analytical and HR system reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• HRIS Administration: manage Workday HCM and coordinate system enhancements.
• Position Management & Compensation: align with classifications, oversee budgeted positions.
• Reporting, Analytics & Compliance: develop dashboards and ensure data integrity.
• System Enhancements & End-User Support: test updates, provide training.
• Organizational Support & Special Projects: advise on reporting needs and processes.
