Job summary

Belvedere Trading in Chicago is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support our Technology and Platform groups. The role focuses on organizational design, workforce planning, and scaling teams responsibly, with hands-on support for performance management and leadership development.

You will work closely with senior leaders to align people strategy with engineering roadmaps, while upholding Belvedere's core values and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years of strategic HR partner experience.
• Proven background in big tech, fintech, or high-growth environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen: understanding of trading/investment dynamics and incentives.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with senior leaders and teams.
• Strong conflict resolution, coaching, and employee-relations skills.
• Knowledge of employment law, compliance, compensation practices, and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Set people strategy with Technology and Platform leaders, translating roadmaps into hiring, engagement, development and retention actions.
• Lead organizational design for a large technical organization; assess structure, spans of control, reporting lines, and roles.
• Own workforce planning with multi-quarter headcount plans and budget alignment.
• Build leveling and career frameworks for technical roles across engineering and platform teams.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on high-volume and specialized technical hiring and candidate experience.
• Scale onboarding and ramp-up for technical hires, ensuring smooth offers to full integration.
