Job summary

Dick's Drive-In is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR strategies across policies, systems, and programs. This role manages the HR and payroll teams, partnering with operations and office leaders to drive efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance in Seattle.

In this in-person, full-time position, you will guide employee relations, administer HRIS and payroll, and champion Dick’s culture. Regular local travel and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years HR experience, including HRBP/manager role, with at least 2 years in people management.
• Proven success developing and executing HR initiatives.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, especially with tech and operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations leaders to develop and implement HR policies, processes, systems, and department goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR and payroll teams, setting priorities and ensuring follow-through.
• Manage risk by ensuring policies comply with HR, labor, and wage laws.
• Independently assess and resolve complex HR matters and coordinate with legal counsel as needed.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance for leaders.
• Conduct investigations and maintain records with operations leadership.
• Oversee HRIS and payroll systems and vendor relationships.
