You will train and coach teams, analyze HR data, and drive engagement initiatives while supporting payroll and regulatory requirements. This position is on-site four days per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR generalist experience across the full HR discipline.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, OSHA and safety regulations, HR best practice, and employee relations principles.
• Experience in a multi-site and multi-state company; Workers' Compensation claims analysis.
• HR Certification; SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR; HRIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner within the company on HR programs, activities and technology, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Serve as subject matter expert for employee relations, benefits, workers compensation, leaves and new hire orientation.
• Ensure HR matters are handled consistently within federal and multi-state regulations, and company policy.
• Collaborate on attainment of annual HR Team goals.
• Proactively evaluate workers compensation claims and work with carrier claims managers.
• Evaluate and administer employee engagement programs and surveys.
• Identify needs and solutions with HR and L&D to build talent and engagement.
• Provide training and presentations in classroom or meeting format.
• Lead or support other HR processes or projects and mentor HR Generalist II.
• Prepare and analyze HR reports, metrics and information.
