Job summary

PLS in Chicago is seeking a Regional Manager of Human Resources to guide and coach leaders, mitigate risks, and drive a high-performing, engaged workforce across multiple units. You will analyze HR metrics, lead investigations, advise on policies, and partner with field leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.

This role requires in-person collaboration at our Chicago Support Center and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources with a focus on employee relations across a multi-unit, field-support role in fast-paced industries.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems, provide independent conclusions and recommendations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage change and work with leaders and peers.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with field leadership to assess and resolve complex HR matters and guide leaders on appropriate actions.
• Engage with employees to understand diverse workforce needs.
• Lead investigations and prepare written findings.
• Provide counsel to leadership to drive business outcomes through engaged, high-performing teams.
• Explain policies and regulatory requirements to leadership and ensure compliance.
• Monitor HR data and develop reports for leadership decision-making.
• Support organizational change while maintaining operational excellence.
