Job summary

Museum of Ice Cream is seeking a Senior HRBP to partner with U.S. museum leaders, shaping people strategy across multiple sites. The role focuses on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and scalable HR systems to support growth and proactive people practices.

The position is hybrid, located in Los Angeles or Las Vegas, with 65% onsite presence and 25–40% travel. Competitive pay, annual bonus, options, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, multi-site/operations-heavy environment.
• Strong employee relations judgment, investigations, corrective action, performance concerns, complaints, terminations.
• Experience building ER processes, documentation standards, escalation paths, case tracking, manager guidance.
• Experience facilitating manager training on people management, documentation, feedback, performance conversations, risk.
• Strong understanding of multi-state employment laws and translating requirements into practical manager guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the HR Business Partner for MOIC’s U.S. museum teams, partnering with Operations and site leaders.
• Translate realities of a multi-site hourly workforce into practical people recommendations.
• Lead workforce planning, team structure, role clarity, and manager capability analysis.
• Provide guidance on sensitive ER matters, risk, and employment practices.
• Build scalable tools, training, reporting, and frameworks for HRBP and ER functions.
