Job summary

ALO in Boston seeks a Manager, HR Business Partner - Retail to serve as a strategic people partner to Retail leadership, supporting store operations and field teams across a geographically dispersed workforce. You will align people strategies with retail objectives, drive performance, engagement, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role calls for 8+ years of HR experience in retail, strong knowledge of multi-state labor laws, and travel to stores and field locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
8+ years progressive HR experience, including retail or field-based support.
Experience supporting high-volume, hourly workforces.
Deep knowledge of multi-state labor laws.
Ability to travel regularly to stores and field locations.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to Retail leadership, driving strategic people initiatives and organizational design improvements.
Champion organizational change, change management, and process improvement initiatives.
Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning.
Promote an inclusive culture and high-performance employee experience across stores and field teams.
Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, investigations, and compliance.
