Job summary

California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) is seeking a Staff Personnel Program Analyst in Sacramento to lead training assessment, development, implementation, evaluation, and consultative services for the Personnel Management Division Training Unit. The role advances HR training initiatives and requires collaboration with department staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in Classification and Compensation in HR domains such as Training, Temporary Appointments, Additional Appointments, Establishing and Revising Classification Specifications, Career Executive Assignments, Exceptional Allocations, or Unlawful Appointments.
• Experience in Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating HR Trainings.
• Knowledge of Learning and Development principles.
• Ability to work independently, be adaptable, and solution focused.

Responsibilities

• Train assessment, development, implementation, evaluation, and consultative services for the Personnel Management Division Training Unit.
• Provide guidance on training needs, and collaborate with department employees to deliver effective HR training.
• Support rollout and evaluation of HR training initiatives across the division.
