California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) is seeking a Staff Personnel Program Analyst to provide classification policy guidance within the state's classification and compensation framework. You will analyze salary programs, review layoff/position reduction plans, and advise on the CEA program while collaborating with departments and stakeholders to support public service excellence.

The role offers telework options with in-office requirements, and a 5% pay differential applies.

Competenze

• Experience with Personnel Management Division's Delegation Program (Career Executive Assignments, Position Allocation and Appointments, Unlawful Appointments).
• Ability to provide consultation to staff on classification and pay matters.
• Experience managing human resources projects.
• Experience creating and strengthening partnerships with diverse stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Provide classification policy guidance to departments on position allocation, establishment of new classifications, and revisions to existing classifications.
• Oversee compensation program including salary analysis, pay differentials, red circle rates, and salary relationship charts.
• Review departmental layoff/position reduction plans and the CEA program.
• Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to support HR programs and policy implementation.
