Qualifications

• The candidate has a combination of education and experience in HR as described in the posting.
• Two years of experience as a HR Technician with the City of Rocklin or equivalent.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a California Class C Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Perform paraprofessional and administrative HR support duties requiring interpretation of procedures.
• Oversee leave of absence cases (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, SDI) and workers' compensation processes.
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims and liaise with third‑party admins.
• Administer HRIS, generate reports, and analyze HR data.
• Lead safety program efforts and assist in safety investigations.
• Execute full-cycle recruitment and selection for assigned departments.
• Provide employees with wage/benefits information and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality of all HR records and information.
