Job summary

VyStar Credit Union seeks an AVP, HR Business Partner to align people strategy with business goals and partner with senior leaders. This role drives critical HR initiatives and fosters strong leadership collaboration to support business growth.

You will design and lead HR programs across organizational design, talent planning, succession, rewards, performance management, and leadership development, while advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion and guiding a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of HR leadership experience; financial services industry preferred.
• Broad business acumen and ability to translate data into action.
• Experience developing and using HR dashboards for decision making.
• Knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership as trusted advisor to meet business objectives and develop HR solutions.
• Plan, design and execute HR programs including organization design, talent planning, succession planning and total rewards.
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion and improve the client and employee experience.
• Lead continuous improvement, coach leaders, drive change and collaborate with HR partners.
• Investigate complex employee relations issues with thorough, impartial assessments.
• Partner with HR COEs and management to optimize workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Participate in ad hoc HR projects and contribute to VyStar brand in the community.
