Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Manager to lead a team of five HR Business Partners supporting lumber mills across MS, LA, and AL. This home-based role requires up to 50% travel and proximity to a supported mill.

You will provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders, develop engagement and capability strategies, and drive critical HR initiatives while partnering with HR to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Strong leadership, business partnership, influencing, and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate fast-paced, multi-site environments and balance strategy with execution.
• UKG and PeopleSoft experience are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of five HR Business Partners.
• Serve as a strategic HR partner and trusted advisor to business leaders.
• Develop people strategies to strengthen engagement, capability, retention, and effectiveness.
• Lead HR initiatives including talent and performance management, succession planning, recruiting, development, change management, compensation planning, compliance, and employee relations.
• Use data and analytics to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner across HR to deliver practical solutions that meet business needs.
• Support compliance with policies, safety standards, employment laws, and union-related requirements.
