Job summary

Healthfirst, a leading New York-based health insurer, is seeking a Senior HR Shared Services Specialist to resolve complex inquiries, manage the employee lifecycle, governance, and compliance across HRSS processes, delivering an exceptional employee experience.

You will own the Service Catalog and Knowledge Base, drive RCA, and standardize processes to reduce escalations while partnering with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and L&D for seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HR operations, with health and welfare programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment regulations, and data management.
• Experience handling complex cross-functional cases and escalations.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding.
• Provide guidance to employees, managers, and HR Partners across Tiers.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive process standardization to reduce escalations.
• Own internal and external audits ensuring data confidentiality.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and support system enhancements.
