Job summary

Röchling Automotive is seeking a Senior Specialist HR Services to support employees and leaders across a broad range of HR activities in Akron, Ohio. You will handle employee relations, performance management, training, benefits, compliance, and HR process improvements.

This role requires a hands-on HR professional who collaborates with cross-functional teams and coaches leaders on personnel matters, ensuring consistent application of policies and contributing to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in HR services and employee relations.
• Experience supporting leaders and employees on performance, training, and benefits.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR contact for employees with questions or concerns.
• Assist with resolving employee issues and conduct investigations when needed.
• Promote positive work environment through engagement initiatives.
• Support performance review processes including goal setting and development planning.
• Assist managers with performance issues and improvement plans.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
• Track and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Support administration of compensation and benefits programs and guidance on enrollment and claims.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and record-keeping requirements.
• Assist with HR reports, metrics, and data.
