Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation, Inc. is seeking an on-site Human Resources Manager to drive HR strategy and day-to-day people operations across multiple Bay Area locations, including the San Francisco site.

You will oversee workforce planning, employee relations, recruiting/onboarding, HRIS management (ADP), and compliance with California employment law and DOT requirements for commercial passenger transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience in a union environment and DOT regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership on HR strategy and workforce planning.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and investigations.
• Coach managers on disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and organizational development.
• Lead HR process improvements, change management, and HRIS optimization.
• Ensure compliance with California employment laws, EEOC, OSHA, and DOT standards.
• Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and other departments on workforce initiatives.
