Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Irvine, CA is seeking a seasoned Employee Relations professional to lead our workplace accommodations program. You will partner with employees, HR Business Partners, Legal, and leaders to deliver compliant, employee-centric solutions and scalable programs.

You will manage high-volume accommodation cases, evaluate requests under ADA and FMLA/CFRA, gather documentation, and coordinate with Leave of Absence and Facilities teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Employee Relations experience with significant responsibility for workplace accommodations.
• Experience partnering with HR, Legal, managers, and leave administrators throughout the interactive process.
• Experience with ADA accommodations in multi-state or multi-location environments.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for accommodation requests.
• Lead intake discussions gathering job limitations and essential functions.
• Manage high-volume confidential accommodation cases from intake to follow-up.
• Evaluate requests under ADA requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate accommodation-related leave requests with LOA administrator.
• Draft and send written accommodation decisions and communications.
• Maintain confidential records and perform regular follow-ups.
• Provide guidance to managers and HRBPs on the accommodation process.
