Job summary

Good Feet Midwest is seeking an experienced Manager of Human Resources to partner with company leadership and oversee day-to-day HR operations in a hybrid West Allis office. You will manage payroll, coordinate with our PEO, ensure policy compliance, and drive workforce initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll and employee relations.
• Experience working with a PEO environment strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll administration and HR compliance.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for associates and managers, guiding on policies and procedures.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, engagement, and performance management.
• Provide coaching on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate with leadership to support development through coaching and training.
• Oversee payroll processing, accuracy, and compliance with wage laws.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and HR data in HRIS.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support audits, reporting, and HR metrics for leadership insights.
