The role owns multi-state payroll, HR compliance, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, and UKG HRIS management, with a starting salary of $85,000 per year. You will partner with leadership to maintain a compliant, productive workplace for a multi-state workforce, delivering accurate payroll processing, benefits enrollment, policy updates, and timely employee

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR generalist or HR management experience.
• Payroll and benefits administration experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily HR operations and act as the primary HR resource for employees and managers.
• Manage full-cycle, multi-state payroll accurately and confidentially.
• Administer benefits programs including enrollments, changes, and vendor coordination.
• Use UKG for HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, reporting, and employee data management.
• Support multi-state compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Advise managers on employee relations topics and policy matters.
• Conduct or support workplace investigations and document resolutions.
• Manage recruiting, interviewing, offers, onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain personnel records and confidential employee information.
• Coordinate leave administration and workers' compensation processes.
• Review/update policies, job descriptions, and employee handbook.
• Prepare HR reports and drive process improvements for retention and compliance.
