Job summary

Sedron Technologies is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll and benefits for its shift-based manufacturing and salaried employees in Washington state. The role covers multi-state compliance, EOR coordination for Canadian staff, and benefits administration including open enrollment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years in payroll/benefits, and familiarity with HRIS tools like Rippling, Excel, and compliance workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR/Finance.
• Experience with multi-state payroll for hourly, shift-based, and salaried staff, preferably in manufacturing.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state payroll processing for hourly, shift-based, and salaried employees.
• Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with employees and managers.
• Administer health, welfare, and retirement benefits, including annual open enrollment.
• Coordinate Canadian payroll administration via EOR partner.
• Lead payroll year-end activities (W-2s, 1095-C, etc.).
• Develop payroll and benefits reporting for leadership and finance.
