Job summary

Atoms seeks a Senior HR Manager to lead HR across Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, and Houston, supporting 4,000+ hourly W-2 employees. Based in Dallas on a hybrid schedule with up to 25% travel, you’ll manage HR Managers, Generalists, and Coordinators and partner with Payroll on multi-state wage and hour execution.

You will build cross-market processes, drive compliance, and mentor teams while partnering with leadership to improve employee relations, safety, and turnover reduction in a high-volume

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with depth in employee relations and investigations.
• Experience managing HR professionals across multiple sites and states.
• Working knowledge of multi-state employment law including CFRA, PDL, FEHA, wage/hour and Cal/OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Document and standardize core HR processes across four markets (investigations, corrective action, terminations, suspensions, onboarding, offboarding).
• Build California requirements first and adjust for other states.
• Create leadership reports on employee relations cases, workers' comp, and response times.
• Automate roster audits, attendance verification, and termination processing with HRIS/Data.
• Set service standards for HR response and resolution times and audit results.
• Analyze trends across ER, injuries, terminations, attendance, and turnover and advise leadership.
• Cross-train and document ownership with defined backup coverage for critical workflows.
• Oversee investigations into harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations.
