Job summary

Atoms seeks a Senior HR Manager to lead field-operations HR across Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, and Houston, managing 4,000+ hourly W-2 employees. Based in Dallas with a hybrid schedule and up to 25% travel to other markets, you’ll oversee HR Managers, Generalists, and Coordinators, and ensure consistent HR practices across markets.

You’ll own employee relations, investigations, workers' comp, leaves, compliance, and payroll partnership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with depth in employee relations and workplace investigations.
• 5+ years managing HR professionals across multiple sites in more than one state.
• Experience building HR processes and systems (SOPs, trackers, dashboards, automation).
• Working knowledge of multi-state employment law including CFRA, PDL, FEHA, wage/hour, Cal/OSHA; plus TX & FL.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own employee relations and investigations across markets; coach leaders on documentation and performance management.
• Manage workers' compensation, leave administration, and ADA/FEHA processes; partner with Payroll on wage/hour.
• Lead HRIS data integrity and roster management; drive automation and reporting for leadership visibility.
• Set service standards for HR response times; oversee HR Managers, Generalists, and Coordinators.
• Hire and onboard an HR Manager for Los Angeles; build scalable team structure for growth.
• Ensure consistency of HR operations and documentation across all markets.
