Addison Group in Nashville seeks an experienced HR Manager to support a growing organization with ~165 employees. The role covers employee relations, compliance, benefits, payroll coordination, vendor relationships, policies, and daily HR operations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of HR experience, strong generalist skills, and familiarity with Paylocity and benefits/401(k) management. A Bachelor's in HR/Business is preferred, with SHRM/PHR/SPHR as a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on generalist experience in a lean HR environment.
• In-depth knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and employment law.
• Experience with benefits administration and 401(k) plans.
• Experience overseeing and reviewing payroll processes.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, and retirement systems; Paylocity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers on relations, policies, performance, and workplace matters.
• Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary matters, documentation, and policy interpretation.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; monitor regulatory changes.
• Oversee benefits administration, including health, welfare plans, and 401(k) programs.
• Coordinate payroll processes, including reviewing payroll for accuracy and changes.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, employee records, and the employee handbook.
• Partner with leadership to identify HR needs and provide practical solutions.
• Coordinate with partners supporting a small international employee population as needed.
