Job summary

Haley Stuart Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager in Bergen County, NJ to serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership. The role focuses on firmwide HR operations, employee relations, and talent strategy across multiple offices.

You will influence HR policy, lead performance management, and support recruitment, onboarding, and retention in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with strong growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Prior law firm experience strongly preferred.
• HR certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership on firmwide HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
• Lead employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary processes, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Evaluate and improve HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist with workforce planning and staffing needs.
• Oversee performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Partner internally on benefits administration and leave management.
• Maintain and update job descriptions and organizational structures.
• Provide reporting and analysis on HR trends and workforce metrics.
