DeKalb Health seeks a senior Human Resources professional to lead a broad range of HR functions including recruiting, benefits administration, HRIS management, employee relations, immigration, and regulatory compliance.

The role supervises HR staff, partners with managers, and oversees budgeting and headcount planning. Requires strong knowledge of employment laws and 8–10 years of experience, with PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or equivalent experience; 8–10 years HR experience; 3+ years management experience.
• Knowledge of FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO/AA, HIPAA, COBRA.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Familiarity with multiple HRIS applications.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Administers all U.S. employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k).
• Maintains benefits information, deductions, and plan summaries.
• Administers immigration program for sponsorship of foreign national employees.
• Supervises HR staff and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Assists in budgeting and headcount planning.
• Manages workers' compensation, FMLA, and ADA programs.
• Supports policy development and HR projects.
