Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Director, HR M&A to lead HR due diligence and integration across mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. You will partner with Corporate Development, the IMO, and HR centers of excellence to drive people-focused outcomes and value realization.

This U.S.-based role may be remote or in a hybrid work arrangement, with quarterly travel to the Conshohocken, PA office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field required.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Global M&A transactions, HR, Strategy or consulting.
• Deep expertise leading HR due diligence, integration planning, and workforce transition activities.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence stakeholders to drive strategic business, talent, and organizational outcomes.
• Experience utilizing workforce analytics and data-driven insights to inform workforce decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR due diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Develop HR integration workplans, governance requirements, and risk assessments.
• Design and manage workforce readiness measures and transition plans for Day 1 and beyond.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align talent and organization design with transaction goals.
• Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on workforce-related risks and retention strategies.
• Monitor integration milestones and ensure value realization across the lifecycle.
