Job summary

Gap Inc. (Old Navy HQ) in San Francisco seeks a Senior Director, Human Resources to shape the HR strategy for the HQ organization and lead a high‑impact HR team.

You will partner with senior executives to build the organization, talent and capabilities needed for today and growth for tomorrow. You will report to the SVP, Head of HR, and influence organization design, workforce planning and leadership pipelines across the HQ.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership in a large, matrixed business.
• Retail or consumer business experience is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence high-stakes decisions.

Responsibilities

• Shape the people and organization strategy for Old Navy HQ, aligning with brand priorities.
• Partner with Head of Field HR and Talent Partner to unify HQ and Field HR.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders on business, organization and people decisions.
• Build organization capabilities through design, planning and operating model decisions.
• Strengthen leadership and talent through succession, planning and development.
