Job summary

Old Navy is seeking a Senior Director, Human Resources, HQ, based in San Francisco. You will partner with senior executives to shape organization and talent strategy, build capabilities and lead a high-performing HQ HR team.

You will influence workforce planning, leadership development, and culture initiatives, leveraging data and AI-enabled tools to drive strategic change across the brand’s headquarters. This role sits on the HR Leadership Team and reports to the SVP, Head of HR.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in retail or consumer business is a strong plus.
• Credible and influential partner to senior leaders.
• Led through significant organization and business change.
• Proven people leader who builds strong HR teams.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Use data, analytics and AI-enabled tools to inform decisions.
• Forward-looking leader who embraces AI and new tools.

Responsibilities

• Shape the people and organization strategy for Old Navy HQ, translating brand and business priorities into focused workforce, organization, talent and leadership priorities.
• Partner with senior HR leaders to align on overall Old Navy HR strategy, so HQ and Field operate as one HR organization.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, guiding important business, organization and people decisions.
• Build the organization and capabilities needed for the future through design, planning and operating model decisions.
• Strengthen leadership and talent across the organization through succession, planning and development.
• Lead the HQ HR leadership team to deliver connected solutions with Talent Management, Employee Relations, Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition.
