Job summary

CFS in Aurora, IL is seeking a Director of Human Resources to shape the people strategy from both a strategic and hands-on perspective. This onsite leadership role partners with senior management to guide core HR functions and drive engagement.

You will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR systems. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of HR leadership and a Bachelor’s degree; SHRM credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 8+ years progressive HR experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience across employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CFS HR strategy, policies, and programs.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
• Drive initiatives focused on engagement, retention, and leadership development.
• Manage HR systems, reporting, processes, and workforce metrics.
• Lead and develop the HR team.
