Job summary

Midway Mechanical Services, LLC is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and benefits across our operating companies. Reporting to the VP of People, you will partner with general managers to strengthen HR practices, standardize processes, and support employees across our organization.

The role focuses on building the MMS People Playbook, aligning HR procedures, tools, and resources for day-to-day HR responsibilities in a growing, multi-location

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Experience managing multi-state employment compliance.
• Experience supporting a distributed, multi-location workforce.
• Hands-on benefits administration and open enrollment experience.
• Strong investigation and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and benefits for multiple operating companies.
• Build and maintain MMS People Playbook and standardized HR procedures.
• Ensure state-specific policies and employee handbook remain up to date.
• Train office managers and leaders on HR responsibilities and escalation pathways.
• Maintain HR data in Paylocity and produce regular workforce reports.
