Job summary

You will provide strategic and operational guidance to senior leadership on staffing, performance, labor relations, and workforce planning, and oversee the site HR team.

This on-site role requires strong knowledge of employment law, collective bargaining agreements, and compliance, with a focus on risk management, audits, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Labor Relations, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive HR experience supporting a complex workforce.
• PHR or SHRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR support for the contract and advise leadership on staffing, onboarding, performance management, attendance, leave, employee development, workforce planning and other employment matters.
• Manage labor relations involving multiple unions; administer agreements, wage determinations, grievances, and negotiations with legal and labor relations teams.
• Ensure compliance with laws, contracts, policies and audits; support hiring, promotions, transfers, discipline, leave and recordkeeping.
• Guide managers on performance, conduct, investigations and corrective action; support talent reviews and succession planning.
• Develop and maintain site HR policies and SOPs; improve HR controls, documentation, and service delivery.
